Notre Dame Cathedral

First established in 1163, this structure has had many changes over the years and took 70 years to complete.  It sits on an island in the Seine river and is historically the focal point of Paris.  The building also contains the Treasury Rooms which house many precious relics.  One of them being the Crown of Thorns worn by Christ.  There are 380 stairs to get to the top.  In fear of meeting the Hunchback, I passed on the opportunity.

The glass windows were amazing.  Each circle piece contains a story of Christ.

This is another display of glass and art.
