River Seine

The Seine river runs through the center of Paris and includes a few islands, one that's home to the Notre Dame Cathedral.

Many of the major points of interest can be seen from the river, including the Eiffel Tower.

One of the popular tourist attractions is a boat ride to see the sites.   I planned on doing this, but spent all my time on foot and the underground.  I'll be sure to do this next time.
